Logbook: Megin River

Exposed to the afternoon inflow winds Megin River Delta (49 26.024N 126 04.689W – pronounced mee-jin) is a pretty anchorage with a waterfall and the entrance to a large river which apparently runs to a lake. We checked out only the waterfall. We rowed up, tied the dinghy to the rock, climbed up the rock and walked up river until we found a sunny bathing pool and more huckleberries. Swimming and picking berries could be the theme of the last two weeks.
