@Freya - We are hunkered down in Sequim at the state park. We are seeing 20-30 knots pretty consistently since last night with gusts up to 40. As we were listening to the weather we heard "with the strongest winds in the Sequim area".

It's an Alpha unit in a Pelican box with an 8dbi antenna. The Pelican box has a nice screw cap on the bottom so you can unplug the wire and take the alpha unit and wire out of the box if you want to leave it outside but want the electronic bits somewhere else.

We're just loading up on brekky now before heading out. The current will be against but the wind looks strong 'nuff :-) Got bread dough mixing for use in our pizza tonite.
@Freya - We thought about joining you in the Discovery Islands tomorrow but realized we are on the US side right now and so maybe Lopez Sound for a night. We haven't been there yet.
