@Freya - We are hunkered down in Sequim at the state park. We are seeing 20-30 knots pretty consistently since last night with gusts up to 40. As we were listening to the weather we heard "with the strongest winds in the Sequim area".Oy!Should be nice for tomorrow and the rest of the weekend though. Hope you make it out. Thanks for the cheesy, chocolatey dinner!- Livia
@Bob - Carol said "its a blue box with a white stick coming out of the top" ...ha!It's an Alpha unit in a Pelican box with an 8dbi antenna. The Pelican box has a nice screw cap on the bottom so you can unplug the wire and take the alpha unit and wire out of the box if you want to leave it outside but want the electronic bits somewhere else.Specs somewhere here.- LiviaPS @Freya - your comment came in duplicate so if you get an email saying I deleted it, I only deleted the extra copies!
Ya, my first comment attempt yielded me a blogger bX-5wmovb error, so I tried twice more before it seemed to stick. We're just loading up on brekky now before heading out. The current will be against but the wind looks strong 'nuff :-) Got bread dough mixing for use in our pizza tonite. Cheers, B&B
@Freya - We thought about joining you in the Discovery Islands tomorrow but realized we are on the US side right now and so maybe Lopez Sound for a night. We haven't been there yet.
Where do you have the Wirie mounted?
@Bob - If you look at the cross bar on the bimini (the only horizontal bar) we have it on that on the port side right now.
