We didn't give him the flag actually, just a photo op. And YES we should have brought more burgees. The number of times we could have had an extra free night or two somewhere if we had a burgee. We had been too cheap to spend the $20 or whatever per extra.
And Dana, we keep using those on every country's courtesy flag. We cut the string, re-attach and fly them. We have them on flag halyards on both sides. THANK YOU!
