We spent a few hours one evening and another hour the next morning watching “The Bear Show” in a bay in Clayoquot Sound. The bears came out during low tide to turn over rocks and munch on whatever bears find tasty in tide pools. At one point the first evening there were 4 bears. One massive bear, two medium bears, and a cub. The next morning, on a beach a little closer to us, we watched a medium bear with two cubs (no photos) and then the massive bear again.
Watching them move and hearing them call (a low woofing) to each other was way cool.
